Almedha believes that she is the mother of Pelleas, who is also believed to be the son of Ashnard. If you choose to kill Pelleas in the storyline, Almedha begins moping around at the loss of her son and becomes a bit of a burden on the team. Almedha was a dragon Laguz, but she got it on with a Beorc, and according to legend, that causes the Laguz parent to lose their powers and become something that doesn't belong to either race. Their child becomes one of the Branded, who live longer than ordinary Beorc depending on the type of Laguz blood that runs in their veins. However, by unlocking a specific conversation at the end of the game, it is revealed that Almedha is actually Soren's mother.
