Ashera is the goddess of order. Her counterpart is Yune, the goddess of chaos. Yune and Ashera are tied to each other, in a way. When Yune sleeps, Ashera sleeps as well, and when Yune wakes, Ashera wakes. This is emphasized by the fact that just before the final part of the game begins, Yune is awakened from the medallion and Ashera wakes up as well. Yune is woke up by Micaiah singing the Galdr of Release, for otherwise Yune would have been awoken by war, which would cause bad things to happen. Ashera awakes along with Yune, and against an agreement the two had made, turns both the warring Laguz and the warring Beorc to stone. This begins a rush to the tower of guidance in the city of Sienne to confront Ashera about this and to turn the statues human again. This leads to the final part in the game, with the final boss being Ashera herself and 9 aura spheres she has to protect herself.
