Axe Knight

Axe Knights are knights who ride into battle, armed with Pole weapons. Axe Knights were introduced in Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu where they vied in competition with other mounted classes such as Lance Knights, Sword Knights, and Bow Knights. They returned in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, and were absent from the next three Fire Emblem games. They returned in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn to replace the Cavalier class.
