[edit] Bantu: Old Fire-Breathing Geezer
Bantu is a manakete that join's Marth's army on Chapter 7. He can wield a Firestone that you could have received earlier in the game by visiting a village. Bantu knows Tiki through some relationship or other. He claims to be useless because he does not have a stone with which to transform. This is pretty close to the truth. Unfortunately, he is required to recruit the excellent Tiki.
[edit] Strengths and Talents
Bantu probably has the worst all-around growths in the game. While he's a manakete, and is as such useful for killing heavily armored units, you don't want to waste experience on him. Unfortunately, since he's required to recruit Tiki, you'll want to keep him until she can be added to your party. After that you can do whatever you want with him (throwing him against a boss to weaken them a little bit so that a weaker character can gain experience is probably one of the best uses).
