Bazba is first seen in chapter two: The Protected when he is ordering that chapter's boss, Bones, to pilage the nearby villages. When Eirika's bracelet is stolen by Colm, Eirika and Seth decide to pursue Colm. Colm leads the two to Bazba's secret hideout on a mountain side in Borgo Ride. He is a blood thirst Brigand and always eager to fight.

Bazba, unlike other bosses before this, wields a ranged weapon, a hand axe. This will make it hard for ranged units to attack Bazba and reap easy experience. Thus, weakening him with stronger units before the kill is a smart decision, as well as having mounted units nearby in case weaker units need rescuing.
