Darros is the only Pirate you get in this game. It’s kind of disappointing to only have ONE pirate, but it’s rumored that it was done for Wi-Fi purposes. He joins in Chapter 2 after you talk to him with Marth.
[edit] Strengths and Talents
Aside from skill and speed Darros’s growth rates are amazing. If you choose to reclass him, it would probably be best to make him a Horseman or a General for story mode play since he is able to survive more than one hit. The character is great, but he’s outclassed by others--see Wolf and Sedgar. Then again, just about anyone gets outclassed by those guys. A keeper.
