Fighter

Fighters, also known as Axefighters, are Axe-wielding ruffians whose wild fighting style leaves them open to attacks. This has been translated into the game by having most Fighters have High Attack, while having low Defenses. Fighters are a male-only class.

Fighters were introduced in Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Ken and have been in every game except Fire Emblem Gaiden. From Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu onwards, they have been able to promote into Warriors. In Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, Fighters were also able to promote into Heroes.
