Gotoh
Gotoh is a great Sage that guided Marth how to defeat the Dolunian Empire and create Starlight in order for him to defeat Gharnef. Gotoh’s task was ordered by Naga which was the protection of all humanity. Naga died and Gotoh decided to recruit 2 pupils, Miroa and Gharnef. There could only be one successor so Miroa received Gotoh’s Aura spell. Gharnef got nothing out of the deal so out of spite he created the Imhullu spell; which later required Starlight to be dealt with as explained previously. If you haven’t been to the last Gaiden chapter(24x) then he will join you in the last battle of the game.
Strengths and Talents
The reason why people don’t hate Gotoh is Swarm. The only way to get that spell is by having Gotoh on your team. For a last battle character, Gotoh is quite useful as a healer since he carries and extra fortify also. You are required to use Gotoh if you didn’t go to chapter 24x so comparing him to other characters is not an eligible solution. Also, keep in mind that Magic is broken in this game which only adds to Gotoh’s pathetic 1 chapter life.
