[edit] Personality

Haar is commonly known to love sleeping. Shiharam, Jill's father was his tutor, and he was a prodigy in battle, as he was called "unrivaled on the battlefield". Despite his laziness, Haar is a fearsome unit. He uses axes and lances in battle, and his wyvern gives him extra movement, as well as the useful Canto ability.

[edit] Path Of Radiance

In the first game, Haar is found as the lazy wyvern knight that he will always be. He is first introduced when Jill joins your side after a long battle. After both Haar's and Jill's home town was destroyed, and Jill's father is killed, the two have no options but to side with Ike. After a shortwhile, the two become handy units and strong friends to have on the battlefield.

[edit] Radiant Dawn

Haar first helps protect Leanne from corrupt Begnion Dracoknights after speaking with Marcia. He joins the Crimean knights in protecting the Queen and fighting the rebels. After this, he joins with the Merchant Caravan to aid the Laguz Alliance. He stays with the team until the end of Part 3. He can speak with Jill in the two chapters they are both in when fighting on opposite sides. He can convince her to join the Laguz Alliance, thus removing her from the Dawn Brigade chapters.

During Part 4, Haar fights with the team he was assigned to. He can be helpful in the Silver Army thanks to his movement in the Grann Desert. He can also fight the many reinforcements in Duke Tanas' mansion. Whatever army he joins, he is a valuable unit. Haar is widely considered one of, if not, the best Beorc in the game. His strength, defense and HP are exceptional, and his speed, while decent in the beginning, becomes lessened later in the game. This is hardly a problem, as he can still manage to 2HKO nearly everything with Urvan.
