Jaffar is a major character in Fire Emblem, and is the Angel of Death of the Black Fang. His abilities have earned him a place among the Four Fangs. He was loyal only to Nergal, who raised him as a child, and used simply to kill others. However, after meeting Nino, he gradually changed and fought on his own principles.
