Karel the Sword Saint is a Sacaean swordman who appears in both Fire Emblem: Fūin no Tsurugi and its prequel, Fire Emblem. In Fire Emblem: Fūin no Tsurugi, he joins the party if Bartre or Fir visits the village he is protecting. In Fire Emblem, his backstory is further expanded, while he was consumed with bloodlust and still known as the Sword Demon.
