Lances

Lances are one corner of the Weapon Triangle, they are weak to axes but perform well against swords. Lances are the most balanced weapons of the Triangle statwise, they are weaker but lighter than axes, and heaver but stronger than swords. Most lances are used in Direct Combat, but a few can be thrown or used up close, giving them a range of 1-2.
