Lyndis, usually referred to as Lyn is a major character of Fire Emblem, who serves as Hector's primary love interest. She also serves as the main Lord of her own mode which doubles as the game's tutorial

Character Data

Background

Lyn is an independent young lady, raised on the Sacaean plains. Her mother, Lady Madelyn of Caelin, eloped with Hassar, the chieftan of the Lorca tribe of Sacae as her marriage was not approved by her father, Lord Hausen. Sometime before the events of Fire Emblem, her tribe was attacked by the Taliver Bandits who poisoned their water supply and attacked them resulting in the destruction of the Lorca.

She lived alone on the plains until she found Mark lying unconscious outside her hut. With his help, she managed to repel an attack by the Ganelon bandits. She decides to travel with Mark, honing her swordsmanship along the way. However, she rushes to Caelin after the knights, Kent and Sain, requests for her to visit her dying grandfather and succeed the Caelin throne.

In the crossover fighting game, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Lyndis appears as an Assist Trophy. Once on the battlefield, she crouches down and says a japanese quote from the games she has appeared in. A few seconds later, the lights go out and she delivers a fatal blow to the opponent.
