[edit] Prince of Altea
Marth is the crown prince of Altea and the main character of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. He flees his homeland when it is invaded by the once-friendly kingdom of Gra. His sister, Elice, stays behind to buy him time. He spends much of the game looking for her. Marth is bent on reclaiming his homeland, recruiting an enormous army and fighting numerous battles to win it back. He and Caeda are in love with each other.

As the Lord class, Marth is the only character capable of seizing thrones, and is also the only character capable of visiting villages. He has a maximum level of 30.
He has average base stats in most parameters, with base defense being above average, and high growths. He is only capable of using swords, but is able to use the Rapier and both versions of Falchion. The Rapier inflicts effective damage against horse riding and armored enemies, while the Falchion does effective damage against Manaketes.
When he has the Fire Emblem, Marth becomes capable of unlocking chests.
