[edit] Radd, Hired Mercenary

Caesar and Radd are mercenaries who work for a port town that Marth visits to stock up on goods. When the town is attacked, the pair are sent by the townsfolk to aid Marth in the battle against the Dolhr/Grust allied forces. They remain with Marth for the rest of the game.

[edit] The Neglected Myrmidon

Whenever a discussion brews up about the best unit recruited as a myrmidon (units such as Cain do not fall into this category), it's often a debate between Athena and Navarre, Radd being forgotten. Since he comes at a low level, he's often dismissed as weak, and ends up sitting in most peoples party. However, the ironic thing is, he's probably the best Myrimidon, and by quite a bit at that. Out of the three characters that start out in the class, he's got the best growths and ends up as one of the top characters overall. When you look at his growths you notice a few main things that stick out: His strength growth is 10% better than Navarre's and 15% better than Athena's, making him the top dog offensively out of the trio. You'll also notice his defense growth is DOUBLE that of Athena's and Navarre's, which also puts him on top defensively, and gives him an average defense of other classes too. His other stat growths are also pretty good (he's tied with Navarre for best luck growth) and if they aren't better than the other two characters, they're usually 5% less or so, which is kind of a small difference in the end. Overall, Radd is the best choice and has great overall stats compared to Navarre and Athena. He may start out a little bit underleveled, but his growths will have him one of your top units within a few chapters. There's no sense in training the other two, since they'll only get a few chapters each before Radd comes in and takes their spotlight.
