Renault is a minor character of Fire Emblem, whose past is shrouded in mystery. He is a Bishop who lived on the Dread Isle. Roughly 30 years before the events of Fire Emblem, he was a mercenary in employ of House Caelin in Lycia, and was known as Renault the Impervious. Years later a dear friend of his died, and he became a thief, eventually killing Lucius's father. He eventually found help in the form of Nergal and volunteered his body for Nergal's experiments on human Morphs in order for him to resurrect his friend.
