Small-Time Thief
Rickard is a thief that Marth's group rescues from an Aurelian dungeon. He's duplicitous and fun-loving, and because he feels he owes a debt to Marth he stays with him for the whole game. In his recruit conversation with Julian it is revealed that Rickard at some point worked for his fellow thief.
Gameplay
Rickard's role as a Thief is to unlock doors, connect bridges, and unlock chests. Rickard is inferior to Julian. Rickard cannot promote or reclass, but has a maximum level of 30. His base stats are very poor and his growth rates are mediocre in HP and defense and above average in strength and speed. He is only capable of using Swords.
