Tana is the princess of Frelia and younger sister of Innes, the prince of Frelia. Tana is also childhood best friend of Eirika.

Tana joins in either chapter nine of Eirika's campaign or chapter nine of Ephraim's campaign. If Eirika is chosen, Tana will request to join her friends and brother in attempts to supply what aid she can. If Ephraim is chosen, Tana will flee from home and, in attempts of tracking Ephraim's troops, will be captured by Frelia and in need of rescuing. Tana serves as a Pelius Knight, trained by both Syrene and Vanessa in Frelia.

Tana is a very optimistic person who embraces her comrades with laughter and enjoyment. Tana is notably respected for her persuasion which convinces Cormag to defect to Eirika's aid rather than remain her enemy. Tana's sociable characteristics and lovable personality make her a great team leader alongside her best friend, Eirika, who represent independent and strong warriors despite being princesses.
