"Our abbot is ill. He needs medicine, but Begnion solderis are hoarding our provisions in the manor house." - Laura speaking to the Dawn Brigade in hopes of getting their help.
While on their way to Kisca, a nearby town, the Dawn Brigade runs into Cleric Laura. Laura takes them to Lord Kisca's Manor where Sothe claims to know the layout because he's been there before. Sothe claims to know where they would hold the medicine and sneaks into the castle to get it while Micaiah, Edward, Nolan, Leonardo and Laura storm the main entrance in hopes of making a distraction for Sothe. Sothe will have the medicine by turn 2 and will regroup with the others from the top left of the map.
After getting Laura's abbot's medicine, she will mysteriously go missing outside of the castle. Micaiah pleads to split up, worrying about Laura. Micaiah, alone, is lured in by Jarod who kidnapped Laura on her way out of the castle and takes the two with him and imprisons them.

This chapter is particularly difficult in the sense that the enemy has the height advantage. When standing on tiles with height, the unit has an accuracy boost while those below have a decline. Be sure to have Micaiah and Laura stay as far away as the archers as possible and use the height to your advantage when the reinforcements come. When Sothe appears, have him immediately unlock the two chests below and guard the other, weaker units from archers and other enemy units.
Slowly make your way to the top of the map, making sure to keep those that have poor defense away from ranged units. Continue to use Nolan, Sothe and less commonly Edward as tanks while Micaiah and Leonardo attack from afar, picking enemy units off. Keep Laura in the back but close enough to heal any units who may get injured.
From the start of the chapter, station two units as to block the Fighter from dropping down and attacking you. Station Nolan in the pathway so that the Soldiers to the east can't pass and attack Micaiah or Laura, either. Nolan will handle the lance units to the east with ease while Edward and Leonardo will do an efficient job with the axe users to the north. Keeping Laura nearby them may be wise in case Edward takes an unwanted blow. Then nudge your way towards the north and west, regroup with Sothe and make your way to the boss.
When the reinforcements arrive, station Micaiah and Leonardo on the upper tiles, as to prevent them height advantage. They will easily take them down with their increased accuracy.
The energy drop found near the boss will be invaluable later in the game. Use Sothe to obtain it, as he has the highest evasion and will most likely dodge any javelins thrown at him. You can play around with the boss, but with poor defense anyone attacking from afar will take damage. Micaiah's Thani, obtained by a chest, is the easiest method of killing the boss.
